Reliable Opportunity, Great Meat in the Freezer
Tired of waiting years for a draw tag? Arizona’s over-the-counter elk tags let you hunt almost every year, especially if filling the freezer is the goal.
Purchase your OTC non-permit tag directly from Arizona Game & Fish, available in many units statewide.
OTC tags are available for archery, muzzleloader, and rifle seasons. Early archery runs through the rut, muzzleloader hits the post-rut transition, and late rifle extends into December and January.
Many OTC tags allow cow or spike harvest—perfect for meat—while some units still offer "any elk" opportunities for a shot at a bull.
Our guides' deep knowledge of elk movement, water holes, and low-pressure areas means our OTC clients routinely fill tags at rates well above the statewide average.
Let Us Help You Draw a Premium Tag
We'll review your bonus points and recommend hunts with realistic draw odds. Many late rifle and archery bull hunts can be drawn with 8–15 points for non-residents; some antlerless hunts with far fewer.
We focus on Northern and Central Arizona country known for solid bull-to-cow ratios, mature age classes, and consistent trophy potential.
Even if you don't draw, you still earn a bonus point—and you can fall back on an OTC tag for the same year.
